Nevada Francois Smith

Nevada Francois Smith, 93, a resident of Raceland, La., and a native of Gallaino, La., died at 12:05 p.m., Monday, Oct. 30, 2006.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until time of funeral, Friday, Nov. 3, 2006, at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, La. A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 3, 2006, at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, La. Burial will be at the Cheramie Cemetary.

Mr. Smith is survived by his son, Steven Smith; his sister, Ezar Lafont; two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He is preceeded in death by his wife Landa Bouffanie Smith; his parents, Washington and Lucy Kiff Smith; three brothers, Louis, Preselic, and Andrew Smith; and four sisters, Ida Danos, Cecilia Terrebonne, AlZina Yarbosieal, and an infant sister.

Arrangements are under the direction of Jerry Boudreaux of Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, La.
