Nita T. Hebert, 75, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 4:57PM. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA.
Family and Friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 9:00AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00AM. Burial will follow services in the church cemetery.
Nita is survived by her children, Ray Anthony Hebert, Dawn Shay; sister, Anna Duplantis and husband Cecil, and Mary Naquin and husband Glynn; grandchildren, Chace Mott, Harlie Loisell, Shelby Shay; great-grandchildren, Caden Berends, Landen Berends, Presten Berends, Brayden Berends, Anjolen Berends, and Della Mott.
Nita is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Hebert; parents, Elby Theriot and Della Fanguy Theriot; daughter, Carla Hebert; brother, and Carroll Theriot.
Nita was a very loving caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed her time with her family. Nita enjoyed having fun with her family and friends.
She will be remembered by all who knew her; never forgotten and always loved.
