Tourney gives teams early look at competition
December 29, 2009Noelie B. Pitre, 88, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009.
Mrs. Pitre was a homemaker and parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, bingo and a caretaker for family members.
She is survived by daughter, Shelia (Paul Sr.) Curole; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Percy F. Pitre; parents, Lovincy and Ida Bourgeois Boudreaux; son, Kermit Pitre; daughter-in-law, Nora Pitre; brothers, Ivy, Volney, Norman, Norby and Julian Boudreaux; sisters, Bernice Riche’ and Julie Navarre; and one grandchild.
She is buried at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
