Nola Pitre Savoie, 87, a native and resident of Cut Off, La. died Tuesday, July 31, 2007.

She is survived by her son, Phillip Savoie; one daughter, Mary Chiasson; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Savoie; her parents, Augustin and Ella Pierce Pitre; four brothers, Jean, Frank, Harry, and Louis Pitre; and five sisters, Cora Boudreaux, Angelle McGee, Armida Pitre, Leona Jones, and Louise Pitre.

Nola was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off.

She is buried at Sacred Heart Church Cemetery in Cut Off.

Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano, La. is in charge of the arrangements.
