Nolan Joseph Waguespack Sr., 75, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Grand Isle, La., died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006.


Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano and from 9 to 11 a.m., Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, La.

Mass will begin at 11 a.m., Tuesday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off.


Burial will be in the Cheramie Cemetary in Galliano.

Mr. Waguespack is survived by one son, Nolan “Joey” Waguespack Jr. and his wife, Maureen Rodrigue Waguespack; one daughter, Patti W. Rigaud; two brothers, Roland and Cedric Waguespack; one sister, Dee Dee Chauvin, and two grandchildren, Jason Rigaud and Joshua Waguespack.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Terrebonne Waguespack; his parents; one brother, Curtis Waguespack; and two sisters, Verna and Betty Waguespack.

He was the retired owner of Chicken Charlies, Nolans Exxon and A Better Buy Shell in Grand Isle. He also enjoyed deer hunting, gun collecting, and cooking for his buddies.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
