October 6, 2011Nolan S. Adams Sr., 82, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011.
Mr. Adams was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport.
He is survived by his wife, Elvire Adams; sons, Chris (Sheila) and Jerry Adams; daughters, Enola (Henry Sr.) Breaux, Judy (Sonny) Meaux and Shirley (Emile) Boudreaux; sister, Marion Adams; 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dolores Adams; parents, Rene and Lydia Adams; sons, Nolan Jr., Daniel and Philip Adams; daughters, Emily and Patricia Adams; brothers, Raymond and Roland Adams; and sister, Ruth Babin.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6 and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7 at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Savior Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland, La. (Falgout)
