Gov.’s wife joins effort to build Gray Habitat home

May 20, 2010Norma Jean Watkins Young, 53, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Wednesday, May 12, 2010.
Mrs. Young was Baptist.
She is survived by sons, Tyrone (Lakecia) Watkins and Christopher (Latrice), Joshua and Jeremy Young; brothers, Lawrence “Neil” (Charlene), Honoray (Cora Le) and Raymond Watkins; sister, Dianne Lofton; and nine grandchildren.
She is buried at Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Raceland.
