Norris Joseph Lecompte, 59, a native of Dulac, La. and resident of Lockport, La. died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at 4:27am.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Tastet Lecompte; two sisters, Doris Saltzman and Mary Lee LeBoeuf; one half sister, Walterine LeBoeuf.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Houston and Josephine P. Lecompte; three half brothers, Wilbert, Hewitt, and Chester Lecompte; and one half sister, Ruth Matlock.
Norris was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Savoir Catholic Church in Lockport. He was a former Deputy for the Terrebonne Parish and Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Departments.
Visitation is Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 8:00am until 10:30am at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport, with the funeral to follow at Holy Savoir Catholic Church. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Lockport is in charge of the arrangements.
