Odile LeBlanc Ellender, 89, a native of Labadieville, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, March 14, 2011.

She is survived by her sons, Roland Jr. “Butch” (Ruth Hebert) and Abby (Laura) Ellender; daughters, Catherine Ellender, Joan (Donald “Chip”) Delaune and Lori Fontenot; brother, Calvin Ellis LeBlanc; sisters, Dorothy Cougevan and Nancy Ordoyne; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Ellender Sr.; brother, Herbert LeBlanc; sister, Mae Callahan Duet; and her parents, Camille and Lillian Blanchard LeBlanc.

She is buried at St. Philomena Catholic Church Cemetery. (Landry’s)
