Olga Bertrand Simon, 88, a native of Pecan Island, La., and resident of Gibson, La., died at 6:39 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2010.
Mrs. Simon was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son, Rodney (Joyce) Lee Miller; daughters, Judy Ann Miller and Betty (Joe) Veillon; 11 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and first husband, Doris Miller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pierre Simon; parents, Numa Mitchell and Sarah Hardin Bertrand; eight brothers; seven sisters; and three great grandchildren.
She is buried at Bayou Black Cemetery.
