Opal Mae McGown Schmidt, 95, a native of Bronson, Texas, and resident of Gibson, La., died on Monday, June 26, 2017.
Mrs. Schmidt is survived by her sons, Bobby (Linda), Mike (Cindy) and Warren (Michelle) Gouner and John Hardcastle; daughters, Carolyn (Lamont) Cooper and Patricia (Frankie) Gilbert; 20 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Bayou Black Cemetery.
