Woodburn residents want stop sign removed

September 9, 2010Ouida Ernestine “Mrs. Tin” Parfait, 76, a native and resident of Dulac, La., died at 5:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010.
Ms. Parfait was a homemaker, housekeeper and cook for Holy Family Rectory, the Calvin Authement family and for the late Father Caillouet. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church where she taught catechism.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Parfait; children, Malcolm (Gloria), Lonnie (Sheila), Karl (Deanna), Johnnie (Carolyn) and Kerry Parfait, Donna (Hank) Verdin, Penny (Perry) Pellegrin, Pamela (Irvin) Carlos, Myra (Kevin) Christen, Juliana (John) Williams and Mary (Albert) Scott; brothers, Linus, Varnis (Joyce), Cyrus (Mildred) and John (Jean) Parfait; sisters: Marie Verdin, Lorna Billiot, Anna Parfait and Sarah Foret; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery.
