Ouida Jeanne Boudreaux, 100, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011.
Mrs. Boudreaux loved to cook, work in her garden and spend time with her family. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Boudreaux; grandchildren; Michelle Crouch, Jeanne DeHart, Nickie Matt and Trent (Kimberly) Boudreaux; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmore Boudreaux; parents, Arthur and Celestine Theriot; son, Arthur Boudreaux Sr.; sisters, Libby, Junietta, Bernice, Irene, Agnes, Olive, Lucille, Lottie and Emma Theriot; grandson, Arthur Boudreaux Jr.; and great-grandson, Cody Crouch.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Chauvin)
