Ozema J. Hue, 94, a native of Pierre Part, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 10:20 p.m. Monday, January 5.


He is survived by his wife, Vicky Stewart Hue; three sons, Jimmy, Harpy and Ernest


Hue; one stepson, Charles Griffin; four daughters, Emily H. Blanchard, Lucy Mae H. Daigle, Shirley H. Scully and Agnes H. Esteve; three stepdaughters, Judy Chiasson, Jean McCarty and Erainer “Sissy” Duet; one brother, Albert J. Hue; 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rosa Hue; his parents, Emile Hue and Odelia Templet Hue; two sons, Junius and Percy Hue; one stepson, Tillman Griffin; one brother, Gilbert Hue; and six sisters, Adele Cedotal, Onise Hebert, Elise Blanchard, Marie Crochet, Eva Fromenthal and Euphrosin Berthelot.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, January 8, at Thibodaux Funeral Home with services to follow Thursday. Burial will be at St. Joseph the Worker in Pierre Part.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
