Thibodaux church finds its place after 10-year expansion
January 12, 2010Patricia “Nana” Small Labit, 97, a native of Liverpool, England, and a longtime resident of Meraux, La., died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010.
Mrs. Labit was a member of the St. Bernard Singing For Fun group for more than 20 years.
She is survived by her children, Nora Schneider, Sidney James “Jim” Labit and Sheila Gonzales; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Joseph Labit; parents, Patrick and Norah Cullen Small; and siblings, Jim Small, Peggy Small, Anne Wright, Freda Parcell, Tony Small and Helen Richards.
She is buried at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
