Tourney gives teams early look at competition
December 29, 2009Paul Edmund Gaines, 50, a native of Anniston, Ala., and resident of Mathews, La., died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009.
Mr. Gaines loved traveling, adventure, flying, riding his motorcycle and sailing the Creole Angel, his sailboat. He was a member of the Krewe of Endymion in New Orleans.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Dupre Gaines; parents, Jack Roscoe Gaines and Oma “Bootsie” Hill Gaines; step-daughter, Renee Rochel; sister, Karen (Daniel) Muse; and three nephews, Dax, Dustin and Drew Muse.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Patsy Brunet Bourg; and paternal grandparents, Henry Savage Gaines and Lillie Gaines.
