Paul D. Hebert, 83, a native of Bayou Blue, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 9:11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011.
Mr. Hebert served in the Army during WWII, and he was a barge superintendent for Sante Fe.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Marie Chiasson Hebert; sons, Oliver (Stephanie Candies) and Quinten (Michel) Hebert; daughter, Nellie (Bobby) Lovergne; daughter-in-law, Adeline Hebert; brother, Clarence “Dick” Hebert; sister, Shirley Marcel; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Madere and Nellie Gaudet Hebert; son, Philo Hebert; and four brothers, Oliver, Lester, James and Norman Hebert.
He is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Falgout)
