Paul B. “Bee” Soudelier, 87, a native and resident of Chauvin, LA., died Saturday, February 3, 2007.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. Military service will be at 9:45 a.m. A mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by one stepson, Wilton Dupre Jr. of Chauvin; two stepdaughters, Nelly Robichaux of Chauvin and Theresa Neil of Pointe-aux-Chenes, LA.; two brothers, Eugene Soudelier of Chauvin and Leroy Soudelier of Houma, LA.; one sister, Beulah Kraemer of Chauvin and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Florence Freeman Soudelier; his second wife, Angelic Blanchard Soudelier; his parents, Eddie J. and Felicienne Lapeyrouse Soudelier; one stepdaughter, Delores Crochet; two brothers, Edward and Olin Soudelier; and two sisters, Louella Lirette and Loyce Soudelier.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years, a World War II and Korean War veteran and a retired Air Force and retired boat captain.
