Pauline Mary Picou Britt, 52, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 6:11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010.
Mrs. Britt was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. She loved bingo, fishing and cooking and being with the family.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Keith Britt; son, Christopher Britt; daughter, Cheri Britt Shelby; six grandchildren, Malloreigh Britt, Katelyn, Skylar, Brooke and Callie Shelby, and Larissa; sisters, Diane Picou Cenac and Barbara Picou Authement; sister-in-law, Suzie LaJaunie; brothers-in-law, Robert Britt, Butch Cenac and Pat Authement; and her nieces and nephews, Mandy Thibodeaux, Julie Cenac, Monique Dupre, Patrick Authement and Guy Paul Cenac.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isabella “Belle” and Bruce Picou Sr.; two brothers, Bruce Jr. and Al Picou; one sister, infant girl; and her grandparents, Alidore and Gail Francis Picou.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are preferred in her memory.
No services will be held.
