Pearl Santiny Lafont, 89, a native and resident of Grand Isle, La., died at 10:59 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2010.
Mrs. Lafont was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church. She was a member of the American Legion Post 309, Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her sons, Larry, Jay, Claude and Victor Lafont; daughters, Kathy Hebert, Darleen Brewer, Connie Tillery and Victoria Lafont; sister, Ruby Mitchell; 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She is buried at Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church in Grand Isle.
