Pearl Marie Guidry Porche, 85, a native of Dularge, La. and resident of Houma, La., died at 8:50 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2007.
A gathering will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernadette Chapel. A memorial mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel.
She is survived by two brothers, Lee Guidry and Charles Guidry; her caregiver, Lona Lovell Smith; and numerous nieces and nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sampson Joseph Guidry Sr. and Olga Duplantis Guidry; six brothers, Rudolph “Peco” Guidry, Elward “Tutty” Guidry, Ralph Guidry, Sampson “Coo” Guidry, Lloyd “Pattot” Guidry and Raoul Guidry; and one sister, Lois Guidry Souther.
She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
She donated her body to science.
