Peggy Henderson Kelley, 78, a native of T. Bar Ranch, Lynn Co., Tx., and a resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, April 8, at 10:30 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, William Ray Kelley of Houma; son, William Lynn Kelley of Houma; sisters, Francis Shepherd of Galveston, Tx., and Carolyn Simmons of New Braunsfells, Tx.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; five nephews; eight nieces; and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Frank Henderson and Josie Barrington Henderson; and sister, Jane Morrison of Abilene, Tx.
She was Baptist and a member of the First Baptist Church of Houma.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to First Baptist Church of Houma building fund.
Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at First Baptist Church of Houma with a religious service to follow.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
