Sheriff’s ranges give public a new target
March 11, 2010Raleigh Joseph Neal, 68, a native and resident of Pointe-Aux-Chenes, La., died at 11:25 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010.
Mr. Neal was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. A retired pumper for Texaco, he was a member of Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree and the American Legion Post 0272 in Montegut.
He is survived by his sisters, Elois Ledet of Chauvin and Karen Stringer of Bourg; brother, Phillip Neal of New Orleans; six nieces and five nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Emilienne Naquin Neil.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. at the church.
He will be buried at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery.
