Ralph P. Knight, 70, a native and resident of Mathews, La., died Saturday, January 31, at 9:42 a.m.
He is survived by his sons, Ricky Paul Knight and Greg Edward Knight and wife Jackie; daughter, Patty Comeaux and husband Oneil; brothers, Guy Knight and wife Della, and Leroy Knight and wife Bella; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Knight; and parents, Junior and Marie Adams Knight.
He was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. He was past Assistant Chief for the Lockport Volunteer Fire Department. He worked for Knight’s Exxon in Raceland, La., for the past 35 years. He enjoyed fishing and going to the casino.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
