Ray Joseph Boudwin Sr., 81, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010 at 8:50 a.m.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Eval Galliano Boudwin; his sons, Ray Jr. (Alenora), David (Cynthia), Perry (Cathy) and Darrin Boudwin; daughters, Susan (Steve) Price, Irene (fiancé Alexander Dymnikov) Trahan and Rebecca (James Bertinot) Scott; sisters, Roberta Scott and Jeanette Morrow; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Mathilda Boudwin; grandsons, Herman Trahan II and Jimmy Ray Boudwin; five infant siblings; brothers, Nolan, Warner, Percy, Edgar Jr. and Gelpi Boudwin; sisters, Rosabelle Boudwin and Florence Hebert; and sons-in-laws, Herman Trahan Sr. and Tommy Vance Scott Sr.

Mr. Boudwin is buried at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
