Ray Paul Fonseca, 63, a native of Houma and resident of Theriot, La. died Monday, July 9, 2007 at 5:05pm.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Fonseca; two sons, Ray Fonseca and his wife Sara and Brian Fonseca and his wife Mary; one daughter, Heather Domangue and her husband Raymond; one brother, James Fonseca; two sisters, Nettie Chisholm and Elaine “Bunny” Burk; five grandchildren, Mandy, Desiree, Brook, Zoe, and Meagan Fonseca; and one great grandchild, Elizabeth Abbot.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raul and Marie Boudreaux Fonseca; one brother, Earl Fonseca, and two sisters, Delphine Trahan and Doris Fremin.
Ray was a devout Catholic and a parishioner at St. Elio Catholic Church in Theriot. He was a retired carpenter, a Mason, and a Shriner.
Visitation is Wednesday, July 11, 2007 from 5:00pm until 10:00pm and on Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 8:00am until 10:00am, with the funeral to follow at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma. He will be buried at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
