Raymond A. Matherne, 73, a resident of Raceland, La., died Saturday, January 24, at 11:10 a.m.
He is survived by his son, Raymond Matherne Jr.; brother, Lloyd Matherne; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Regina Dubois Matherne; daughter, Denise Matherne Nord; brother, LeJay Matherne; and sisters, Lillie Bartholomew, Lillian Benedum, Delsay Robichaux, Anna Duming, Doris Corlis, Yvonne Murphy and Jean Gerharet.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, January 30, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland. Mass will be at 1 p.m. with burial at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
