Raymond Comardelle, 77, a native and resident of Des Allemands, La., died Tuesday, Aug. 23, at 8:30 p.m.


He is survived by his wife, Dorena Dufrene Comardelle; two sons, Randall Comardelle and Kris Comardelle and companion Brenda Breaux; two daughters, Brenda Cranford and husband Wendell, and Maxine Farrell and husband Johnny; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Anna Dufrene Comardelle; three brothers, Hyman, Exo and Simon Comardelle; and four sisters, Zoe Dufrene, Lovinia Frickey, Alverta Dufrene and Alvina Boudouin.

He was retired from Monsanto.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at First Assembly of God Church. A religious service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the church with burial at Mennonite Cemetery in Des Allemands.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
