Raymond John Arcement, 90, a native of Montegut, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011.
Mr. Arcement was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Phyllis Arcement; sons, Raymond Jr. (Barbara) and John (Terry) Arcement; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Arcement; parents, Abdon and Eloyne Arcement; brothers, George Sr., Eugene Sr. and Eddie Arcement; and sisters, Edith Degeneres, Hattie Chauvin, May Matherne and Dorothy Labit.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Chauvin Funeral Home with Liturgy of the Word to follow. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery. (Chauvin)
