Behind basin restoration, Maloz leads

Raymond “Fast Jack” Price, 67, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, Oct. 17, 2011.
Mr. Prices was a retired employee of J. Ray McDermott Shipyard and Lafourche Sugars. He was a Deacon at St. Peter Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Price; brothers, Lonnie and Nolan (Jane) Price; and sisters, Shirley Ross, Geraldine Young, Sheila Price, Linda Meads and Carol (Wilbert) Robinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Eldora Price; brothers, Henry Jr., Charles Sr. and Roland Price; sisters, Cora Garner and Audrey Sherman; and grandparents, Florence and Willie Moore Sr. and Warner and Katie Price.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at St. Peter Baptist Church in Thibodaux with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Williams & Southall)
