Raymond Charles Vinet Sr., 77, a native of Schriever, La. and resident of Baton Rouge, La., died Thursday, April 26, 2007.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Schriever. Mass will be at noon Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ogden Vinet; four sons, Raymond Charles Vinet Jr., John Clyde Vinet, Thomas Ogden Vinet and Andre’ David Vinet; two daughters, Denise Ann Vinet and Camille Lelia House; eight grandchildren, Steven, Gregory, Evan, Morgan, Brigette and Amanda Vinet and Sean and Sarah House; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John J. Vinet Jr. and Marie Bernard Vinet; two sisters, Marion Ledet and Jerry Nell Boudreaux; and one grandchild, Jacob Dugas.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
