Rebecca Anna Lee Dorsey Williams, 59, a native of Napoleonville, La., and a resident of Dorseyville, La., died Saturday, Aug. 15.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin Williams Sr.; three sons, Alvin Jr. and wife Alaycia Williams of Raceland, La., Murry Al Williams and Adam Charles Williams of Napoleonville; two daughters, Shanna Ann and Sharrie Marie Williams of Napoleonville; one step-daughter, Billie Joe Ross of Napoleonville; four brothers, Royal Sr. and wife Marguerite Dorsey, Frank Sr. and wife Mary Dorsey, Horrace and wife Evelyn Dorsey and Wilson Dorsey; 10 grandchildren; two brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Royal and Lottie Dorsey; two brothers, Lloyd and Raymond Dorsey; and one sister, Rosetta Dorsey.
She was a homemaker
Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, at Williams & Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church in Napoleonville. Religious services conducted by Rev. Ronald Dorsey will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with burial at the church cemetery.
Williams & Southall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
