Rebecca Jo Gray, 62, a native of Pineville, La., and resident of Berwick, La., died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013.
Mrs. Gray was a loving and devoted wife, mother, special “Gigi” to her grandson and friend. She devoted almost 20 years as a teacher in the St. Mary Parish school system – the last 16 at Berwick Junior High School where she was named 2008-2009 teacher of the year. She enjoyed going to the beach, painting, spending time outdoors with her family and friends, cooking, baking and tennis.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Gray; son, Jeff (Jennifer) Gray; daughter, Stephanie Gray; brother, Rusty (Susan) Reeves; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Audrey Reeves.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Twin City Funeral Home with services to follow. (Twin City)
