Rebecca Whitney Kreller, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 12:22 p.m. in her home following a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Mrs. Kreller was an active member of Annunziata Catholic Church, working with young people through youth ministry. She served as a youth minister for 16 years, nine of those years as the director. Her generous heart, giving spirit, and her joy have influenced countless young people. Mrs. Kreller was also a Mary Kay beauty consultant for 30 years. She loved life and it was truly evident by the way she lived her life and in the way she cared for others.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Mike James Kreller; son, Mike (Nekki) Kreller II; daughter, Jennifer (friend Beth Guidry) Kreller; one grandchild; mother, Rose Mary Songe Whitney; brothers, James Jr. (Mona), John (fiancée Kathie Bunten) and Jeff (Lisa) Whitney; sister, Beth (Mark) Hebert; and a host of other friends and relatives.
Mrs. Kreller is buried in St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery.
