Reuben “PaPaw” Peter Gautreaux Sr., 75, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014.
Mr. Gautreaux was a U.S. Navy veteran, a hard worker and a music man.
He is survived by his sons, Reuben Jr. (Paulette) and Anthony (Maria) Gautreaux; brothers, Roland, Camille, Hayes and Golden Jr. Gautreaux; sister, Francis; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Golden Sr. and Rosedel Gautreaux; and brothers, Robert, Murphy, Michael, Howard and Simon Gautreaux.
Burial is at Rogers Cemetery. (Samart)
