Reuel Kevin Morgan, 43, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, April 26.
He is survived by his mother, Curtis Lee Morgan; special friend, Deanna Steward; sons, Christopher Renard Morgan and Bryson Spencer Morgan; daughters, Rebecca Charmaine Morgan and Meghan Alexandria Morgan; brothers, Jarius Morgan, Tyrone Morgan of Baton Rouge, La., and Daryl Morgan of LaPlace, La.; sisters, Dr. Cara Morgan Smith and husband Malcolm, Maurenella Nelson and husband Dock of Dermott, Ark., Gwen Morgan of Houma and Danese Morgan of Baton Rouge.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward James Morgan Sr.; brothers, Edward Morgan Jr. and Jerome Morgan; sister, Adlean Henry; maternal grandparents, Manuel and Cara Jacobs Lee; and paternal grandparents, Ben and Laura Celestine Morgan.
He was Baptist a member of Grambling Alumni Association. He was a warehouse tech with the Terrebonne Parish School System. He enjoyed sports, music and spending time with family.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, May 1, at New Rising Sun Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
