Richard Anthony LeCompte, 68, a resident of Lafayette, La., passed away Monday, May 18, at 9:23 p.m.
He is survived by his one daughter, Shari L. Menard and husband, Dale, of Broussard; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five sisters, Barbara Turlich and husband, C.J., Christine Palmisano and husband, John, Jeri Dixon, Kathy Dervan and husband, Robert, and Sue Saltalamachia and companion, Merton Chaisson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Richard A. LeCompte Jr.; and one brother, Dana LeCompte.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at Delhomme Funeral Home in Lafayette, La. with religious services to follow. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette is in charge of arrangements.
