Richard Joseph Bourg, 79, a lifelong resident of Larose, La., died Sunday, May 30, 2010.
Mr. Bourg had great love for his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nina Chabert Bourg; son, Chris and Martha; daughters, Darlene (Myron) Fischer, Kathy (Glenn) Trosclair and Donna (Keith) Angelette; grandchildren, Amy and Monty Guidry, Jenny and Corey Arceneaux, Justin Bourg, Richard Fischer, Ray and Andrea Trosclair, Jordan Trosclair and Shelby Angelette; great-grandchildren, Jacob Guidry, Emily and Ella Arceneaux and AnnaLee and Adeline Trosclair.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elfedge and Leona Bourg.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, with the funeral mass at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic School or Houma Christian School.
