Richard Lee “Buddy” Mahoney Sr., 73, a resident of Gray, La., died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011.
Mr. Mahoney was a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church and a retired laborer for Chet Morrison.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Mahoney; son, Richard Mahoney Jr.; daughter, Lisa Mahoney; brothers, Robert and Paul Mahoney; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernie and Henry Mahoney; daughter, Sharon Ann Mahoney; brothers, Herbert and Isaac Mahoney; sisters, Laura Parker, Beatrice Daniels, Maude Daniels, Viola Martin and Bertha Jones; and grandparents, Mose & Laura Mahoney, and Pete and Rose Walker.
He is buried at Halfway Cemetery.
