Local troops brace for life away from home
January 6, 2010Rickie Myles Blacklock, 53, a native of Houston, Texas, and a resident of Patterson, La., died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at his residence.
He was survived by his longtime companion, Pam Sanders; daughters, Rachel Blacklock and Kelsey Sanders; sons, Tyler and Dylan Sanders; brothers, Charles Ray, Jimmy, Donald and Gaylon Blacklock; two great-aunts; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City and Hicks Funeral Home of Houston.
