Ricky Charles Baker, 51, a native of Vernon, Tx. and a resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, May 14, at 11:40 p.m.
He is survived by his sisters, Sherrie Parker of Houma, La., Joyce Gant, Linda McPeat and Rita Hopper of Vernon, Tx., and Peggy Hoke of Coulterville, Ca.; brothers, Gary, John and Randy Adams of Vernon, Tx.; half-brothers, Richard Hoke and Bobby Hoke of California; half-sisters, Lynn Petz of California; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Adams and Doris Henson; brothers, Bob and Tony Adams, half-brother, David Hoke and sister, Wanda Fennell.
He was a shipbuilder at Acadian Shipyards.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
