Rita Himel Goetz, 83, a native and resident of Donaldsonville, La., died Friday, April 6, 2012.
She is survived by her daughters Carmelite (Rudy) Simoneaux and Rita Caballero; son John Goetz; brother, O’Neil Himel; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one step-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Goetz; mother, Eugenie Hebert; father, Theophile Himel; stepmother, Josephine Himel; sisters, Marie Palermo, Cynthia Goetz and Jeanne Darce; and brother, Linwood Himel.
Interment was at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Cemetery in Donaldsonville. (Ourso)
