Rita Mae Legnon, a native of Morgan City, La., and a resident of Patterson, La., died on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at her residence.
Ms. Legnon’s life revolved around her children and grandchildren. They were very special to her and she will be greatly missed by them.
She is survived by her companion, Michael Estelle; sons, Nathaneal (Alida) Clark III and Tunie (Amy), Danny and James Bullock; daughters: Mary (Raymond) Foret, Rita Sharp and Mary and Nelia Bullock; sisters: Anna Stevens, Mary Jane Comeaux, Betty (Rick) Franklin, Peggy Ann Boone and Dorothy (Dean) Ahmad; brother, Euclide Legnon; 36 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is buried in the Morgan City Cemetery.
