Robert “Bob” Carter, 72, a native of Freer, Texas, and a resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, Sept. 30.
He is survived by one son, Bryan Carter and fiance’ Amy Jones; two daughters, Cheri Kirk and companion Bill Goodman, and Tina Blanchard and husband Joseph; one brother, Warren Lee Carter; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Norrell Carter; and one sister, Billie Garner.
He was a self-employed carpenter.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Chauvin Funeral Home.
Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
