Robert “Bobby” Patrick Allemand, 77, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died at 11:45 p.m. Sunday, September 21.


He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Pridgen Allemand of Raceland; two sons, Mike Allemand and wife Gwen of Houma, La., and Tim Allemand and wife Cindy of Raceland; two grandchildren, Ashley Wininger and Jamie Allemand; and one great-grandchild, Peyton Wininger.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris Allemand and Ada Knight Allemand.

He was a retired carpenter, a member of Promise Keepers and Every Hunters Club. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Living Word Church.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, at Living Word Church with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at St. Louis Cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
