Robert Cliftion Lindsay Jr., 80, a native of Oklahoma and resident of Houma, LA., died at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, April 15, 2007.
Services will be announced at a later time.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Brown Lindsay; one son, John Lindsay Sr.; one daughter, Edith Cavanugh; and 14 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lindsay Sr.; his mother, Edith Taylor Lindsay; his stepmother, Marie Lofton Lindsay; two sons, Allan L. and Eddie C. Lindsay; and one brother, Wayne Lindsay.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
