Rodney Callais Sr.

Rodney J. Callais Sr., 67, a native of New Orleans, LA. and resident of Larose, LA., died at 6:42 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2007.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be at noon Saturday at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Olivia Garcia Callais; his mother, Henrietta Gisclair Callais; one son, Rodney J. Callais Jr.; one daughter, Reble Callais; one brother, Kim Callais; two sisters, Christine Callais and Charlene Garcia; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Anthony Callais; and two daughters, Frances Callais and Monica Callais.

He was retired, a U.S. Navy veteran and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.
