Roger J. Bourg Jr., 98, a native of Westwego, La., and resident of Napoleonville, La., died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013.
Mr. Bourg was a bookkeeper, tax preparer and retired secretary/treasurer of the Assumption Police Jury. He was an avid hunter and founder of the Plattenville Hunting Club. He was a great father and grandfather.
He is survived by his son, Roger III (Barbara) Bourg; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugenie LeBlanc and Roger Bourg Sr.; first wife, Margie Bourg; second wife, Myrtle Bourg; and daughter, Neila Swann.
Burial is at St. Anne Catholic Church Cemetery in Napoleonville. (Landry’s)
