Rogers J. “Jay” Collins Jr., 57, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 2:40 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010.
Mr. Collins was Catholic.
He is survived by his companion, Molly Duet; mother, Ruby Navarre Collins; stepson, Sammy (Laura) Duet; stepdaughter, Christie Duet; brothers, Paul (Laura), Patrick, James (Yvonne), David (Kelly) and Peter (Denise) Collins; sister, Emily (Phil) Serigna; one step-grandson, Michael Cheramie; 14 nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rogers “Nigee” Collins Sr.; and grandparents, Leonise and Aramis Collins, and Alvin Sr. and Julie Navarre.
