Roland “Bason” Guidry, 74, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Saturday, May 10.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey Pitre Guidry; sons, Keith Guidry Sr. and wife Patsy, Tony Guidry and wife Danae and Wade Guidry; daughter, Patty Hebert and husband Gerald; sister, Anna Mae Rodrigue; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulysse and Frances P. Guidry; and brother, Nolan Guidry.
He was a member of the Lafourche Masonic Lodge # 427, the Cattleman’s Association of Raceland and was Secretary and Treasurer for Cheramie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bayou Region Hospice, 195 Corporate Dr. in Houma, La.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 13 and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 14 at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. A religious service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at Golden Meadow United Methodist Church. He will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, La.
Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano is in charge of the arrangements.
